I'm reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for my amazing 4-year-old daughter, Aleah. Aleah is deaf and hard of hearing and also has ADHD and global development delays. Despite the challenges she faces, she is the light of our lives.

One of the biggest struggles we face is in the car. Aleah gets easily overstimulated, which leads to aggressive behavior towards her siblings, including hitting and biting. It's heartbreaking to witness her distress and not be able to provide her with a safe and comfortable environment. What we really need is a passenger van. This would give her the space she needs to feel secure and reduce her anxiety during car rides. Compounding our challenges, we live off a single income because someone needs to be with Aleah 24/7 to ensure her safety and well-being.
