My name is Aldair, and I’m currently battling leukemia. This diagnosis has changed everything for me and my family. We were recently moved to a hospital that’s over an hour away from home, which has made daily life much more difficult. My parents have had to stop working so they can be by my side and help with my care, and the distance means extra travel costs and time away from the rest of our family.

On top of the medical challenges, we’re struggling to keep up with everyday bills and my school tuition. I’m in school right now, working toward my goal of becoming an electrician. It’s been hard to focus on my studies with so much uncertainty, but I’m determined to keep going. The support from this fundraiser will help my parents cover basic expenses like food and bills, and make sure I can continue my education while I fight this illness.
