Our family is going through an incredibly difficult time. My Stepdad Albert recently suffered a stroke and is currently in the hospital, beginning the long road to recovery. As a result, he is unable to work while he focuses on healing.

He has been a part of the El Rio Girls Softball League for many years and is someone so many know and love. He’s a hard worker, a genuinely kind person, and someone who always brings a smile to everyone’s face — often followed by his unforgettable, one-of-a-kind laugh. If you’ve ever been at the field, chances are you’ve seen him there early, prepping, helping, or jumping in wherever he was needed without ever being asked.

During this time, we are asking for any support you may be able to give. With him out of work and medical bills beginning to add up, every donation — big or small — truly makes a difference. My mom Amber, his long time partner, has been by his side throughout his recovery and has also had to take time off work to care for him, making this an especially challenging time for our household.
