Support Alberto's Final Journey Home

Dedicated community, we wanted to provide an update on the fund for Alberto‘s final journey home. Thanks to some generous private donors, we are now closer than ever to being able to fulfill Alberto’s family’s wish of laying him to rest in El Salvador. Our new goal is $9,500, and we are confident that our Vienna Inn family will help us get there. Please continue to share Alberto’s story and keep his family in your thoughts. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our long time friend and kitchen staff member Alberto. He came to the US from El Salvador in 1995 and immediately became a crucial part of our team up until he suffered a devastating stroke last year that left him paralyzed. For nearly 30 years, Alberto connected with all of our customers, often greeting them with a fist bump and sharing his love for the Dallas Cowboys. Many of you generously contributed to his GoFundMe last year to assist with his care after his stroke, something his family deeply appreciated. As we start to plan Alberto's funeral, we are again turning to you, our community, to help us lay our friend to rest. We appreciate any support you can offer at this time. There will be a funeral on Friday, Oct 25th in Woodbridge and the family's wish is to bury him in El Salvador.
