Support Alberto Ruiz's Dad in His Cancer Battle

Hello, my name is Alberto Ruiz and me and my family have recently discovered that my dad has a Glioblastoma grade 4 tumor in his brain. A fast-growing, cancerous, and one of the most aggressive serious types of tumors that a person can have. This has caused him to suffer for the past 2 months, experiencing symptoms of intense nausea, seizures, migraines, and most importantly, losing his sense of self and memory.

It has been intensely heart-shattering for me and my family to see his health condition worsen over time, not only for our family but for his friends and those he has helped. My dad is a good man with a good heart who always put his family first and only wanted to help others; he often helped others more than himself. Those who know him know that.

I remember my father cried to me a year ago and apologized for failing as a father since I didn’t have the newest car to drive. His only dream for himself was to buy his family a house, and in his eyes, he believed he failed. However, he did everything and worked so hard to have food on our plates and a roof over our heads, and that was enough for me. To me, he is everything and the best father I could have ever asked for and will always be my number one supporter.

These past months have been hard on my family financially since he can no longer work due to his condition and has been in and out of the hospital since early December. I am starting this GoFundMe looking to help cover his medical bills since he doesn’t have insurance and we’ve received multiple bills all over $15,000 each.
