Hey! My name is Alayna and I’m 18.

My relationship with God is what transformed my life. From middle school through most of high school, I struggled with pretty intense anxiety. I felt like I constantly had this heavy weight on my chest, almost every day I had horrible stomach aches and felt like I might throw up. I didn’t really have a lot of good friends and really struggled to feel wanted and loved. I always believed in God, but I didn’t always care to have God as my friend. I treated him like a genie and when I didn’t feel like he heard me, I turned to the world thinking it would bring a sense of comfort and fulfillment. However, it left me anxious, empty and hard-hearted. When I was at my lowest of lows, God slowly showed me time and time again that he was always beside me even when my back was towards him. He completely changed my heart, mind, desires and my life. He showed me a type of love so remarkable that I wish for everyone to know Jesus so they can feel it too!

That's why I am trying to fundraise and go to YWAM Fire and Fragrance Nashville because I am hungry to fall more in love with Jesus and to learn to live out having a servant's heart and walk in humility!! In YWAM, I will spend 3 months in Nashville and 3 months in another country. I will be learning more about the Bible and to walk with Jesus, how to share the Gospel and to really serve others and help in whatever way needed!!
