Alan was in a bad bicycle accident a few weeks ago. He flipped over the handlebars of his bike and sustained a neck injury that required spinal surgery because he lost all sensation in his arms and legs. The surgery was a success but he is still left unable to move.

The doctors have told us that once he’s out of the ICU he will have months and months of in-hospital rehab to learn how to walk again and use his arms.

So far he is still in the ICU because of complications that keep arising and we are waiting till he’s stable enough to move him onto rehab.

As of now no one has any idea when he will be able to go back to work again. It could be months, it might not be till next year. We don’t know.

In the meantime we are asking for a little help as we navigate this, for hospital bills or for rent since one of us is not working and I have taken so much time off to be at the hospital. Alan is the best and I’m hoping if we can get some funds it could really help us as all the bills start rolling in as things progress.
