Many of you know and have worked alongside one of our beloved Members and former San Diego Chapter Board Members, Alan Scheer. For the past two years, Alan has been courageously battling colon cancer. Throughout this challenging journey, he has continued to demonstrate the same strength, character, and resilience that defined his leadership within our Chapter.

Our collective hope is that Alan is able to overcome this difficult chapter, reach remission, and return to doing what he loves—competing in our tournaments, attending Chapter events, and most importantly, spending many healthy years with his family watching his children grow.

Alan has given so much to our Section and Chapter over the years. Now is an opportunity for us to rally around him and show the same support and camaraderie that make the San Diego Chapter of the Southern California PGA so special.
