Support for Alan Blackington’s Family After His Tragic Loss

The world lost one of the great ones early Saturday morning and our hearts are completely shattered. Alan faced a brief and extremely courageous fight with colon and bladder cancer and passed away with dignity at the young age of 50. I just took the photo above on April 12th, he was still so full of love, life and strength. How could he simply be gone 3 weeks later.

Despite a promising prognosis and Alan's determined and positive spirit to overcome this illness, the universe had different plans. His family is now facing an unimaginable loss. Alan was the primary provider and caretaker for his son Alec and his two young grandsons, and they are understandably devastated and unprepared for life without him.

We are all heartbroken over the loss of Alan and I am hoping to help Alec, his girlfriend Anna and "the boys" (who were Alan's whole world he always said) deal with this profound and sudden loss. The funds raised will go towards covering funeral expenses, which they were not prepared for, as well as essential living costs as they begin to navigate their lives without Alan.

Any amount will be of help to them and everyone Alan ever met can tell you he would do anything for anyone and especially his boys, let's help carry on that legacy for him.
