My daughter suggested I create a GoFundMe account, so here I am, reaching out for support during one of the most challenging times of my life. Recently, I was diagnosed with cancer, and the journey has been overwhelming both emotionally and financially. The treatments, hospital stays, and prescriptions have created a heavy financial burden for me, much of it coming out of pocket. I’m on a fixed income, which doesn’t leave room for these unexpected medical costs. The expenses have added up quickly, and it’s become more than I can manage on my own.
