My name is Alan LaBonte, and I’m currently fighting cancer while trying to avoid losing my home.
Ongoing treatment has left me with significant medical costs, even with insurance. Over a year ago, I also lost my full-time job, and without that income, I’m now struggling to cover rent, medical bills, and basic living expenses.
Right now, I’m facing the very real possibility of homelessness while continuing chemotherapy. I’m actively looking for more affordable, state-sponsored housing, but the waiting lists are long, and time is not on my side.
I’m doing everything I can to keep going—to stay in treatment, protect my health, and get back on stable ground—but I can’t do it alone.
Any support will go directly toward keeping a roof over my head, covering medical expenses, and giving me the chance to focus on fighting this illness instead of losing everything around me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any help you can give.
