Alanisha has survived years of emotional and physical abuse in a domestic violence relationship. This is Alanisha’s first encounter with the criminal justice system. She is a woman of deep character, admired in her community for her grace, integrity, and generosity. She is now navigating a complex legal battle while also healing and rebuilding her life.
