Support Alani's Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Alani Souder, and I’m a 19-year-old full-time college student and a full-time Chick-fil-A employee who found myself in an unexpected and life-threatening medical emergency. On March 4th, I was rushed to the ER due to severe abdominal pain, high fever, and dangerously high heart rates. After being admitted for 5 days, I was diagnosed with multiple serious conditions: severe sepsis onset by a severe kidney infection, an ovarian cyst rupture, a critically infected right lung leading to pneumonia, and atrial fibrillation.
During my hospital stay, my vitals were unstable, and I had to be placed on a ventilator and heart monitor to stabilize my condition. I also underwent numerous CT scans, EKGs, and blood tests to understand the extent of the situation. The total cost of my treatment came to $13,271.36. Due to us not being able to afford health insurance, this is an overwhelming burden for me and Carson, who are both doing our best to pay off this bill.
I’m reaching out to ask for help. I’m hoping to raise $10,000 to assist in covering the medical expenses, as I’m currently unable to pay the full amount on my own. Your generous donations will help alleviate some of the financial strain from this unexpected crisis, so I can focus on my recovery and getting back to school.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference and be deeply appreciated. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this page or keeping us in your prayers would mean the world to us. Thank you for your support during this challenging time!
With gratitude,
Alani Souder and Carson Boudreaux
