Help Us Support Alana Through Her Battle with Alzheimer’s

Hi, my name is Jesseca, and I am reaching out today with a heavy heart to share the story of my incredible mother, Alana. At just 50 years old, she has been courageously battling early onset Alzheimer’s disease, a fight that has taken everything out of her.

Over the past 8 years, I’ve dedicated all my time, energy, and resources to caring for my mother. Watching her slowly fade has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. She’s now only 91lbs, and the doctors have advised us to prepare for the worst. Unfortunately, Alana’s battle with this devastating disease has been compounded by the fact that she has no other immediate family left to help—her parents have passed, and she is the last of her sisters, all of whom lost their lives to the same disease.

Because of this, I’m carrying the full weight of her care, physically, emotionally, and financially. I’ve used all of my time and money to provide her with the best care possible, but now I find myself in a position where I don’t have any savings left to prepare for what’s coming next. I need help for the difficult final steps—end-of-life arrangements and cremation services, which I simply cannot afford on my own.

Alana has always been a kind and loving mother, and it breaks my heart to see her go through this. If you can find it in your heart to donate anything, it will help cover the costs of her final journey and give me the chance to focus on spending these final days with her without the overwhelming worry of financial burdens.
