My name is Ethan Blackstone and I am starting this fund for my mother, Alana Blackstone. She was diagnosed in February 2024 with ovarian cancer (high-grade serous cell carcinoma). She underwent surgery to remove the tumors and had chemotherapy treatments after she recovered from the surgery, with her last chemo injection in July 2024. On November 4th, 2024, she had a follow-up PET scan which found that the cancer is still there. She is now facing another round of chemotherapy. Cancer treatment is costly not only on the body but also financially. I have started this fund so that my parents can focus on fighting this cancer and not worry about the financial aspect.
