Hi Co-Workers, Friends and Family,

I am reaching out to you on behalf of my friend, Alan Palafox, who suffered a devastating spinal cord injury on November 17, 2024. Alan was riding in the back seat of his friend's car, less than a mile away from his home, when he was involved in a car accident. He broke his neck and was instantly paralyzed from the shoulders down. He spent two months on a ventilator and feeding tube. We are extremely thankful that he is alive! This life-altering event has brought immense challenges, and while Alan has faced all of them with an extraordinary amount of strength, courage, determination and resilience, he is still facing a long and difficult road to recovery.

As you can imagine, the cost of specialized rehabilitation and ongoing medical care is significant. These expenses include physical therapy, occupational therapy, assistive devices, and other vital treatments that are crucial for regaining independence and improving quality of life.

Alan qualified for and received a 4-month grant for rehab at SCI-FIT Physical Rehabilitation Center in Dublin (who specializes in spinal cord injuries). That grant has now ended and yet there is so much more rehabilitation that needs to happen. Alan is working extremely hard every day and has started gaining feeling in his left arm.

We are humbly seeking your support to help cover these rehabilitation costs. Your generous donation will directly contribute to Alan’s journey toward healing and renewed hope. No amount is too small—every contribution will make a meaningful difference.
