IBEW 613 Sisters & Brothers we thought it would be appropriate for all of the JWs and Apprentices who were touched by Alan Elkins to donate to his wife and help in creating a memorial in his name. During his tenor as an instructor at the Atlanta JATC he showed us how to not only execute the trade but also how to be subject matter experts. He showed us to stay relatable to always be open to learning and to helping others learn. Alan was the true definition of brotherhood and leadership and we all owe a tremendous debt of gratitude. We will present the funds to his wife at his memorial this weekend and create the award to be award with the next graduating class from the JATC. Please consider donating multiples of the year you topped out.
