Support Alaittim DeLeon's Volleyball Journey
Donation protected
Hello, I'm Anthony Sabia, one of the assistant coaches of the Harrison Blue Tide boys' volleyball team. Myself, along with Head Coach Nick Landy and our other assistant coach Cris Oliveira, have been lucky enough to coach rising senior Alaittim DeLeon for the last 2 seasons. He is an honor roll student that was an integral part of our lineup last year on a team that finished with a record of 26-5, won the Hudson County Championship, and advanced to the semifinals of the state tournament. For his hard work and effort, Alaittim was recognized as a second team all-conference and third team all-state selection for group 1.
Alaittim recently just completed a tryout for Sideout Sports VBC, one of the premier volleyball clubs in the area. He was selected to play for their 18-1 team, the highest level team the club has to offer. Being able to play for this club will give Alaittim the chance to play volleyball all year round, travel to all different parts of the country and, most importantly, gain exposure to many different college coaches that he wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to do.
Unfortunately, there is a sizable tuition required to play for the club as they must practice multiple times a week and provide their players with uniforms, gear, tournament entry fees, travel, and more. This tuition is a barrier to entry for Alaittim as him and his family are unable to cover the cost.
We are asking, on behalf of Alaittim, to help cover some of the cost of the tuition so that he will be able to take advantage of this great opportunity. He is one of the hardest workers we've ever had in the history of the program and has the ability and potential to become one of the program's all-time greats and move on to play in college and further his education as a result. Anything you can do to aid him in his journey would be most appreciated.
Thank you!
