Support Alain's Fight Against IGA Vasculitis

Hello my name is Shakira and this is my seven year old cousin Alain who lives in the Philippines, she was diagnosed with IGA Vasculitis in October 2024 and has been in and out of the hospital since. Recently has she has had to go back on Christmas Day and has not yet been released due to unrelenting seizures. Currently her parents are unable to work, needing to be at their daughter’s side at all times during her current critical state. To give more details of her illness, her internal organs have been greatly impacted and she has had to undergo dialysis three times a week.
Alain has temporarily become blind due to her brain swelling and brain bleeding she is also undergoing multiple blood transfusions due to her very low CBC count she has undergone an intubation due to the liquid or water in her lungs so she has so many complications which has led to constant seizure attacks. It started with a very painful stomach ache and she was taken to the private hospital first and was given antibiotics but that didn’t work and it was a misdiagnosed condition until she started urinating a real dark colored pee and her body started to swell which was due to the water retention then progressed drastically until she was diagnosed after a very careful study and many more clinical procedures, it was determined as an auto immune disease called IGA Vasculitis what it does is it attacks the internal organs as small veins are bursting inside and when it is very active all her main internal organs are attacked and causes extreme pain, seizures and she essentially becomes a comatose patient. Alain is a kind, upbeat, loving girl who always has me genuinely laughing, it breaks my heart to know she is experiencing so much pain and at such a young age when she should be playing and hanging out with friends in school. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and could helpfully go towards getting treatment in the United States which has hospitals that has treatment for this rare disease.
