In March 2024, Alain was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer. When he found out, he was already at stage two so he started chemotherapy and radiation right away. He got through chemotherapy and radiation like a champ. Alain was positive and did his treatment with a smile on his face.

in March 2025, Alain had a surgery to remove the tumor. The surgeon was able to remove most of the cancer cell out of his body. But a few months after the surgery, Alain found out the cancer has spread again.
