About 8 days ago, my Mom, Alaine Larsen, called me and was in tears saying how much her chest and back were hurting. My worst feelings came true that my Mom was having a heart attack while I was on the phone with her. Fast forward a few days and they found five blocked arteries and the need for surgery. On Wednesday, March 19th, our Mom faced a multiple hour open heart surgery. All praise to God that her life was saved, but she has a long road of recovery ahead, and not to mention doctor's bills that will soon be on their way. My parents are in great need financially to help cover their out of pocket expense for this minimum two weeks in the hospital, surgery, as well as the gas it takes for my Dad to get back and forth to her from an hour away where they live.

If you are so inclined, we ask for two things. Most importantly, if you could pray for Alaine. Pray for her healing and rehab. And if you feel so inclined and are able, I know that any donation they receive will help relieve them of the financial burden ahead. They are still working through paying for a knee replacement and back surgery.
