Our dear friend Alaina Arner is facing a medical crisis that has turned her life upside down in a matter of weeks.

After months of severe, unexplained pain, Alaina was finally taken seriously by doctors when imaging revealed a mass in the pancreas area, wrapped dangerously around a major artery. The pain has been relentless, often so severe that standard pain medications were ineffective, causing dangerously high blood pressure, sleepless nights, and repeated hospital admissions.

Doctors initially feared pancreatic cancer. While the first biopsy did not show malignant cells, specialists are still highly concerned. Due to the mass’s appearance and location, doctors believe it may be lymphoma, but they cannot proceed with treatment until a second biopsy confirms exactly what they’re dealing with. Unfortunately, that biopsy has been delayed for weeks, while Alaina’s condition continues to decline.

• She can barely eat and lives with constant pain
