Meet Aladdin, “Handsome Prince” is his Jockey Club name; 7 yo off -the-track thoroughbred. He was lovingly retired in March ‘23 by Jennifer P. Young Training & Paterpop Racing and came to Cindy Levey & Maple Brook Horse Sanctuary, Inc. in Nov ‘23. He recently had recurring colic and sudden weight loss which required a deep medical dive. After testing & imaging at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, it was determined he had a 2-foot mass in his abdominal cavity that is inoperable. Maple Brook Horse Sanctuary, Inc. in Spencer Massachusetts was to be his forever home. He was flourishing as king of the herd, until several weeks ago when the colic and weight loss began. Tufts has determined the tumor is attached to internal organs, and no treatment is possible. He will be humanely euthanized and cremated, with his ashes spread at the Sanctuary, to be forever at peace with his herd. Will you help Maple Brook Horse Sanctuary with medical and final expenses.
