Sadly , my husband, Alan Rogers passed away Friday evening at 12:15am. Alan put up a strong fight against the cancer but ultimately in the end, it took his life. He never gave up the hope of buying our dream RV and just traveling this beautiful country…..Al and I learned how to survive on very little… the cancer kept him from working most of this year and at the end, I wouldn’t leave his side , neglecting my own work. I don’t wish this upon anyone. Cancer is a bully, it barges into your life and takes over everything that you have. I still can’t believe that my sweet handsome man is gone. We literally have nothing left. I don’t know what I would have done without my family …My sister was kind enough to pay for the cremation . Before Alan passed away , he told me that he wants a big barbecue with lots of good music and friends and family to celebrate his life. My hope is that sometime in July we can honor his last wish. The bills have been building up and there are still many financial loose ends that will need payment soon. I am unable to hold a viewing for Al which is why the celebration of life barbecue is all the more important to me.
