Hello, I am Maisa Al Haddad, and I am organizing a fundraising effort to support my father, Awni Al Haddad, who is 66 years old and undergoing medical treatment after a kidney transplantation. Unfortunately, his health is deteriorating due to the lack of sterile drinking water and proper quarantine conditions necessary for a successful transplant recovery.

Our family, consisting of my father, mother Eetedal Al Haddad, and four sisters (Nehal, Nivein, Seren, and Menna) with no breadwinner, has faced significant challenges since the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023. The Israeli occupation forces compelled us to leave our home in Al Tuffah neighborhood, which was subsequently destroyed.

We relocated to Rafah, where we struggled to establish even basic shelter, living in a tent without essential amenities such as food, water, and proper sanitation.

The displacement has exacerbated my father's health issues due to the unavailability of medication, unsanitary conditions, and a lack of sterile drinking water.

Furthermore, we find ourselves in a precarious situation with four sisters and NO source of income since my father's retirement salary cannot be accessed due to the destruction of banks in Gaza.

Our days have been marked by a scarcity of food and water, with our only sustenance coming from humanitarian aid. We are earnestly seeking your assistance in raising funds to evacuate our family to a safe place, away from the destruction and fear in Gaza. Additionally, we aim to secure appropriate medical treatment for my father to improve his health and overall well-being.
