Support Akana's Fight for Recovery

Hi, my name is Akana, and I’m urgently asking for your help.

I’m currently recovering from reactive airway disease with acute exacerbation and refeeding syndrome, a dangerous condition that can happen when someone starts eating again after a period of prolonged nutritional deficiency. This has left me extremely weak, unable to stand or walk for more than a few minutes at a time, and struggling to breathe while sitting or standing upright.

Despite seeking medical care, I’ve reached a critical point:

I need to take a medical leave of absence from my workplace to stabilize and recover, but I’m unable to do that without raising funds to support me during this time.

Donations will cover my basic expenses such as:

• Rent and utilities (I’m currently at risk of eviction)

• Groceries and electrolyte support for refeeding

• Toiletries and any additional supplements and supplies.

• Outstanding Medical Expenses

I’ve exhausted my savings, credit options, am unable to work in my current state, and I have no other source of support. Every minute I push through worsens my condition, but without financial relief, I may lose both my job and housing.
