11/25 UPDATE: Vic has woken up! He is understandably disoriented, and resting, but he is AWAKE! We are overjoyed!! Also, Fher had a procedure to his spinal column yesterday and is demonstrating an immense amount of resilience! He is healing quickly, we couldn't ask for better news!

While attempting to join family for the holidays, Annakaren, Victor, and their sweet 2-year old son, Fher were involved in a terrible car accident. All 3 are currently hospitalized. Victor has remained in critical condition, however his vitals give us hope for some kind of a recovery. Annakaren is lucid and walked away from the crash with at least 7 broken ribs and injuries to her pelvis. Fher has sustained significant damage to his body, and required an emergency procedure which will leave him impacted for the rest of his life.

 

Annakaren, Victor and Fher could frequently be seen at food events with their food stand, Lobosol's. Needless to say, they will not be able to return to their work, and will all be healing and dealing with the lasting impacts of the significant injuries they have all sustained, for a long time.

 

Please help give this family some peace of mind for the holidays to support the cost of rent (as they are currently unable to continue working), recovery, and all of the costs that will be associated with this tragedy. We want them to focus on their healing, and move forward after this tragic experience.
