On June 22nd, Anthony (AJ) was in a crosswalk and was struck by a car that fled the scene in Huntington Beach, California. Thankfully, a kind couple spotted him in the intersection of Beach Blvd and Utica.

He was transported to the University of California Irvine trauma center. He has had surgery on both broken legs, a dislocated shoulder, broken ribs, and lots of abrasions. He’s currently in the ICU with Rhabdomyolysis as a result of surgery.

AJ and his family need financial help with hotels, flights, medical costs, and future care.

He is very lucky to be alive. He can’t wait to have the opportunity to walk again and get back to the gym. We are overwhelmed by the amount of support and love received.

As of July 7th, he is still in the hospital and awaiting insurance to cover a Rehabilitation unit for his legs and shoulder.
