01/30- day 29 sobriety. My mom and sister saw her Tuesday. Scott and tyler went Thursday and I’ll go tomorrow with my sister and Nev. nervous but excited. Not sure what progress we will see tomorrow, but it’s been a week and she’s still there doing the hard work. For that we are proud.
01/22 - today AJ is 20 days sober and has one night under her belt at the eating disorder and rehab facility. The immediate ask is to pray she sees her worth and that she’s capable of completing the program. She did touch base with my sister this morning and it was a very hard phone call. keep praying and sending happy thoughts.
Hi!! I’m Aj’s Auntie.
This is hard to write, but it’s harder to watch someone you love slowly disappear.
Our sweet AJ is struggling deeply with alcohol abuse and an eating disorder. These are battles that began with choices she made—but they quickly became illnesses that took control of her life in ways none of us anticipated. Addiction and eating disorders don’t stay small. They don’t stay manageable. They take over.
Right now, she is overwhelmed—physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially. She’s facing bills she can’t keep up with and doesn’t have access to the level of care she truly needs to survive this. We are trying to help her get into a recovery program that can actually give her a fighting chance—one with medical oversight, therapy, structure, and real accountability.
She knows she needs help. She wants to get better. But wanting it isn’t enough without the resources to make it possible.
This fundraiser isn’t about pretending mistakes weren’t made. They were. This is about recognizing that no one deserves to be written off because of them. It’s about stepping in before it’s too late.
The money raised will help cover:
• Immediate living and medical expenses
• Treatment and recovery placement
• The basic stability she needs to focus on getting well
Recovery is terrifying. It’s messy. It requires support, structure, and time. We’re doing everything we can as a family—but we can’t do it alone.
If you’re able to give, thank you. If you can’t, please consider sharing this. Even that matters more than you know.
We still believe there is a future where she is healthy, sober, and alive. We’re trying to help her get there.
