Hello.

My name is Ajita Krishna Das, and I'm a pujari (priest) here at an Ashram in the hills of Santa Cruz, California.

In the video above, I'm the one in white clothing.

I'm reaching out to you, to share my life story, and to see if you would be willing to donate to my cause.

I am disabled, suffering from the results of a car accident and Ankylosing Spondylitis, a chronic spine condition which is very painful.

I have had a full life so far, and now at 56 yrs old at the time of this post, I am surviving on donations only. I am fed by the Ashram, which I do lots of volunteer work for.

I have lived in the mountains with no electricity for 8 years, I have crossed the Atlantic ocean on an 85 foot sailboat, and I have dedicated my life to spiritual pursuits since a young age.

I now spend my time working with the Ashram. Doing Service. I help feed visitors, and the Deities here, trying my best to be a giving unit.

I have always had a desire to serve God and the devoted souls of God, and to help those who are searching.

I've been involved with this Ashram for over 30 years, now I call it Home.
