Hey everyone!
My name is A’Janae Williams and I will be graduating with my JD from UIC Law this December! As a Black woman who is a first generation law student, it has always my dream to enter the legal field and spark changes.
As I begin to wrap up my law school journey, my entire focus is on passing the Bar Exam the first time, as this is how I will obtain my license to practice law. Passing the Bar requires both hard work and a substantial financial investment. Some of the fees for the Bar include:
- Bar Exam Registration Fee: $950
- Laptop Registration Fee to use during Exam: $135
- Bar Prep Course: $2000
In total, this amount is about $3,100. The Bar is not just an exam - it is the final step in achieving this goal I’ve had since I was a little girl.
With your support, I can focus on studying and preparing without the stress of how to cover these costs. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward these expenses and will help me invest fully in my future.
I am so grateful for how you all have supported me on this journey. I will continue to shine and make you all proud. I just need a little help to do so.
So, thank you so much for considering to support me in this. My gratitude and love runs deep
