Support Aja Purciful's Battle Against Stage 4 Cancer

We’re making this GoFundMe for one of the best friends we’ve ever had and one of the best people we’ve ever known. Aja Purciful was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The biopsy is in a few days, and those results will tell her if what the doctors think is true – that it’s originating from her breast. So far, we know that her liver has been massively impacted, it’s spread to her abdomen, spine and lymph nodes. She’s also going to get a scan to see if it’s in her ovaries as well. Getting news that you have cancer is never easy, but finding out that it’s already stage 4 has been nothing short of devastating for Aja, Mike, and the rest of their friends and families. The doctor says that what they know so far is that it’s “extremely aggressive and will need at minimum intense chemo, among other things.” Again, we will find out a lot more after the biopsy of her breast is done mid-November. Aja is still working out getting on insurance, so everything is currently coming out of pocket. A multiple-day hospital stay, doctor’s visits with Primary, Oncology, and GI is really starting to add up – and quickly. Aja should be covered soon… in the meantime, still needs to come up with doctor’s visits and biopsy charges, let alone the income she’s missing out on until we can get that going, but they say it may take a few months. This is to help our girl with bills she’s having to pay, groceries, meds, you name it.
