My name is AJ Conner.
Growing up, I faced a unique challenge. I was born with only a thumb on my left hand, which limited me to certain hobbies and sports. Despite this, I discovered my passion for computers and technology early in life. I pursued it wholeheartedly, and my dedication paid off. At just 14 years old, I'm now a junior in high school, having advanced quickly through my studies. When I was 10, I built my first computer, a milestone that marked the beginning of my journey into the world of technology.
My father, a disabled veteran, and my mother have been tirelessly supporting my sister and me, paying for our education since the 2nd grade. This has taken a significant financial toll on our family. I love my parents deeply and understand the sacrifices they make to ensure we have the best opportunities. However, I also recognize the strain it puts on them.
I have a dream to create a prototype for a prosthetic hand that could help me achieve my goals in life. It's my design and creation, but I need a 3D printer to bring it to life. Unfortunately, my parents cannot afford this equipment. Any assistance or donations would be deeply appreciated and would help me take a crucial step towards realizing my dream.
