Hello my name is Aj Phillips. My wife is De’Anna Phillips. As most of you may know, we have a beautiful family consisting of 3 little girls. 15, 9, and 4. Our youngest daughter is turning 5 this weekend. My wife and I was in a life threatening car accident on Saturday night minutes before Father’s Day causing us to be admitted until Monday. I sustained a fractured hip that has caused me to not be able to walk on my own, multiple cuts to my forehead causing me to lose a lot of blood, swelling in various parts of my body, along with damage to other areas as well. My wife sustained a broken right collar bone, injuries to her foot, along with bruises in various parts of her body as well. This was a very traumatic event for both of us that has changed our lives forever. We were both advised that we will both need to be out of work for 12 weeks. In my case, I just started my new job less than a month ago, in event I have no benefits. My wife is self employed and doing nails and can no longer work. We both are in work for pay positions so with us not working, there’s no pay. To add to the situation, my job is not taking it well on the amount of time that will be needed to fully recover. As you could imagine, we now have the financial responsibilities of funding our daughter’s birthday, my wife’s birthday, medical bills, household bills, another car and the list goes on. There’s no amount of preparation that could be done that could prepare us for these events. With this being said, we are asking for help. Help from all of our friends, friends of friends, family, group members and anyone else that could find it in their hearts to contribute in any way shape or form.
