Help Aiyana Fight Her Brain Tumor

Nine-year-old Aiyana should be starting another school year in the Marshfield School District — making friends, learning new things, and just being a kid. Instead, she’s fighting for her life in a hospital room three hours from home.

What began as weeks of nausea and headaches turned into every parent’s worst fear: doctors found a brain tumor. Surgeons tried to remove it, but the swelling was too dangerous, and now her medical team is working on a new plan to help her heal.

Her dad, Ryan, is a single father who has already overcome more than most — he fought for custody of his kids while battling cancer himself. Now, he’s doing everything he can to stay strong for his little girl while being far from home and separated from his other children, who are being cared for by family.

Between hospital stays, travel back and forth, meals, and lost work, this family is facing financial pressures no parent should have to think about while their child is sick. Ryan just wants to be by Aiyana’s side — not worrying about bills, gas money, or how to keep things going at home.

Aiyana has a long road ahead, but she’s a fighter — brave, sweet, and stronger than any child should have to be. Please consider donating or sharing to help lift some of the weight from Ryan’s shoulders and show this family that they’re not alone in this fight.

Even the smallest donation or share makes a difference. Thank you for holding Aiyana and her family in your hearts and prayers.

Here is a little information on what she has been diagnosed with..

Craniopharyngioma is a rare type of brain tumor derived from pituitary gland embryonic tissue that occurs most commonly in children, but also affects adults. It may present at any age, even in the prenatal and neonatal periods, but peak incidence rates are childhood-onset at 5–14 years.
