Aislinn's infant daughter, Helena Solis, contracted Group B Streptococcus during delivery which caused an infection in her blood and the fluid surrounding her brain and spinal cord. She was life-flighted to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City where she spent several weeks before she was stable enough to be discharged.

She continues to experience seizures and will likely need anti-seizure medication for the rest of her life. Additionally she'll need to be seen by a neurologist and hearing specialist regularly to ensure that she does not experience any developmental delays or auditory defects. It will be a very long and expensive process for the family.
