Support Aislinn's Ankle Surgery Recovery

As many of you know, I’ve had to do this once before. It hurts me now as it hurt me then but we are in desperate need of help from friends and family.

On December 27th, 2024, I had stepped incorrectly in a massive pothole leaving an establishment and my left ankle bent 90 degrees inward. I had tried to stand straight and walk normally and crumbled. This was different. Frank carried me to the car and we rushed to the E.R.. within a few minutes my ankle had swollen so much I had to have him help me get my boot off. I sustained severe damage to my outer ligaments and sustained damage to my talar dome, which has now developed a cyst inside of the bone. I have not been able to work with this injury since December and I have been informed that I need a surgery to repair the damage. After the surgery it’s about 4-6 months of recovery, which means I will have been out of work for a year at that point.. When this injury happened, we had just moved into our current living situation that expires at the end of the year. Which leaves us no options, we have tried to file a claim with the establishments insurance, amicably, and they refuse to give us any information for our insurance to contact them. We are in the process of finding a lawyer to help us in this journey as our insurance does not cover time loss for spouses. We have been down every avenue with the state but to no avail.

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I reach out for any help as we are not in a position to cover so many of these costs.

I am so grateful for our support system and my husband that works so, so hard to try and take care of us both.
