in July of 2025, at just 31 years old, my cousin Aisha, received a devastating diagnosis of stage 4 cancer. This came after years of already unimaginable hardship. In 2018, she survived an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in the loss of a fallopian tube. Against the odds, she later welcomed her miracle son, Beau, only to face another life altering crisis when he contracted meningitis as an infant. He nearly lost his life and permanently lost his hearing. Through relentless love, advocacy, and sacrifice, she worked tirelessly to help her son regain stability through a cochlear implant and intensive therapies. Just as things finally felt steady, cancer entered her life.

She is now undergoing the most aggressive chemotherapy regimen, receiving treatment every other week, which has made it impossible for her to work. She and her son currently share a small room in her mother’s home and are facing overwhelming financial strain during this already painful time. She is strong, resilient, and continues to persevere for her child, but strength alone is not enough. She needs support. Any contribution will help cover medical expenses, daily living costs, and provide some stability for a mother who has never stopped fighting for herself or her child. If you are able to give or share, it would mean more than words can express.
