Support Air Force Veteran Brian Valor Through Lung Cancer

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Chelsea, and I work alongside Brian at Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores. I’m creating this fundraiser on his behalf with his knowledge and approval because he’s not the type of person who would ever ask for help on his own—but right now, he truly needs it.

Brian Valor is someone you can always count on. He’s a dedicated full-time team member who is currently working toward becoming a team trainer. Known by his coworkers as honest, hardworking, driven, and genuinely kind, Brian brings humor and heart into everything he does.

He is also a proud Air Force veteran who served our country for 12 years. Above all, Brian is a family man—he is most proud of his three sons and his grandson, who mean everything to him. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, hiking, visiting stadiums, and cheering on his favorite teams—the Baltimore Orioles and the Las Vegas Raiders.

In August 2025, during a routine checkup, Brian received unexpected news—a mass was found in the upper left lobe of his lung. He had no symptoms, making the diagnosis even more shocking. Doctors have confirmed the mass is cancerous and will continue to grow if not treated.

On May 14, 2026, Brian will undergo surgery to remove part of his lung. His recovery is expected to take up to eight weeks, during which he will be unable to work. His wife will also need to take time off during the beginning of his recovery to care for him.

While Brian does receive some disability support, it is not enough to cover essential living expenses. The loss of income during this time has created significant stress, especially when it comes to covering rent, utilities, and food.

This journey has also taken a toll emotionally. Brian has experienced sleepless nights, anxiety, and moments of depression as he navigates the uncertainty of his diagnosis. One of his biggest concerns is the possibility of the cancer returning—but through it all, he remains focused on what matters most: his family. His wife, his children, and especially his grandson are what keep him strong and moving forward.

I’m asking for support on Brian’s behalf so he can focus on healing without the added burden of financial stress. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping Brian and his family cover essential expenses during his recovery.

If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean just as much.

Thank you for supporting Brian during this difficult time.
