Hello, my name is Aimee. My husband and I have been living a self-sustained lifestyle for 2 years in a canvas tent. And while we love the life we are living, we have one major problem that arrives like clockwork every year: THE WIND. In the spring, Flagstaff sees up to 65 mph winds, and that can make things extremely difficult when living in a tent.

We had planned to purchase a shed to add to our setup this spring; however, my husband lost his job and just started a new one. This has put us a couple of months behind, and the big winds have already begun. The shed is the final piece to our home. It will ensure we have a safe place to retreat when the winds are gusting at 65 mph.
