I am fundraising to raise money to support research to defeat glioblastoma. Glioblastoma Awareness Day is the third Wednesday of July. As you might have heard I have been recently diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma, the deadliest of all brain tumors. Before I die it is my hope to raise at least $5,000 for the National Brain Tumor Society. I am also planning on having some cool silent auctions on Facebook to further support the cause. For example, I received a beautiful cake stand from Mackenzie-Childs valued at $500 which will be auctioned off for the tumor society. I have had two brain surgeries thus far. The prognosis for all those with glioblastoma is bleak with survivability measured in months not years.
