We’re reaching out to ask for support for someone incredibly special—our dear friend Aimee. If you’ve ever met her, you know how much love and light she brings into the world. She’s a devoted yoga teacher, an unwavering friend, and a quiet but fierce advocate for animals—especially within the feral cat community, where she’s spent countless hours doing TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) work across Macomb County.

What many people don’t know is that Aimee has been silently struggling with a serious hip issue for most of her life. She’s never been one to complain, always pushing through pain with a smile on her face. But over the last few months, the pain has become unbearable—even waking her up at night. After seeing an orthopedic specialist, she was told that a total hip replacement is her only option. Her surgery is scheduled for May 5th.

As a yoga instructor, this surgery means she will be unable to work for a while. Aimee lives simply and gives generously—but now she’s facing a time of real financial hardship while she recovers.

We created this GoFundMe to help ease the burden of lost income and mounting medical costs during her healing process.
