Hi, we’re Ryan and Angel, and we’re fundraising for our dear friend and teammate, Aiko.

Our kickball team is more than just a team — we’re a family. And right now, one of our own needs our support.

During her first game back after recovering from a previous leg injury, Aiko suffered a serious setback. She fell and developed a severe hematoma, and the internal bleeding began to compartmentalize — a dangerous condition that required emergency surgery. Doctors had to act quickly to relieve the pressure before it caused permanent tissue damage due to lack of blood flow.

This has been a frightening and painful experience, and Aiko now faces a long road to recovery — again. On top of the physical toll, she’s also dealing with the financial burden of hospital bills and time off work while she heals.

We’re coming together as her team — her family — to help ease that stress so she can focus on getting better.
