Support Aiden's Year-Long Medical Journey
Donation protected
This is for my daughter and her son. A week ago, my 16-year-old grandson was admitted to the hospital with acute appendicitis with perforation, generalized peritonitis, abscess, and gangrene. One of the bacteria he is infected with is called Actinomyces. It's a rare bacteria that has to be treated with I.V. antibiotics. This is going to be at least a year-long process. Aiden will be in the hospital for at least another 2 weeks, and when he does get released, he is going to require weekly visits back to the hospital. We will all be trained on how to give the I.V. antibiotics, but he will still need to be monitored weekly. The hospital is an hour and a half away. We are asking for help with gas to get back and forth. If my daughter takes any more time off work, she will get fired, so she will be driving back and forth daily until he is released and then weekly after that. She has already missed work, and her family is doing their best to help, but we aren't a rich family. We aren't asking for help paying bills, just to have enough gas.
Thank you
