My name is Crystal Menshouse. I am Justine's aunt. I live in Fairbanks, Alaska, and feel completely helpless being so far away and unable to help Mitchel and Justine. I offered to set up this GoFundMe page to raise money for this wonderful little family.

As many of you have heard, little Aiden was born on May 9th at 30 weeks, 10 weeks before his due date. Aiden is doing well despite his early arrival. He is a fighter, born at 3.7 lbs and 16 inches long. Typically, premature babies will not be released from the hospital until near their due date.

Having a baby in the NICU is a difficult time for families; every day is a rollercoaster of emotions, and babies will inevitably have leaps forward and setbacks. The stress of this is difficult, and to have a young child at home while trying to be there for your little NICU baby adds a lot more difficulty.

Justine has been discharged from the hospital. Their home in New York is three and a half hours from the hospital in Vermont. Mitchel, Justine, and Xander are on a waitlist for the Ronald McDonald House near the hospital. There is a fee for the Ronald McDonald House, based on your income. If/when they can get a room, allowing them to be together, and close to the hospital (Aiden).
