Support Aiden's Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
Bobby & Yvette Morales who are Aiden's parents are going through a very difficult unexpected life changing time. No parent is ever prepared to hear their child will be needing brain surgery at only 4 years old. His road to recovery is going to be a lengthy one with travel involved therefore this family will have to split apart in order for Aiden to get the care he needs. Aiden is full of life and our heart breaks to see him in this condition. Please consider donating to this beautiful family to help them get through this difficult time. If you are unable to donate keep Aiden and his family in your prayers.
“Unfortunately Aiden experienced a life changing episode the other day while playing.. he began to experience the inability to move his arms, stand up or even walk. We have 3 serious neurological issues to address: 1) a spinal cord injury caused by a accidental fall while playing 2) neurosurgery to repair a brain malformation he was born with but did not know he had until last night when he had his first ever MRI 3) Unfortunately the brain malformation caused a cyst on the spinal cord which is contributing to his lack of motor function.
The present cyst made the spinal cord susceptible to trauma which is why an accidental fall or sudden movement caused a bruising to the spinal cord
There are so many aspects and unknowns at this point however the love and support from our family and friends is what Aiden, Myself, Bobby and Lucas need to get through this traumatically difficult time. Our lives will forever be changed however we are positive and optimistic of a full recovery with the help of neurosurgery and inpatient rehabilitation when we are safe to transition to the next phase. Aiden’s journey will be ongoing for months and possibly up to a year but we are going to do anything we can to be able to beside him the entire way! Our boy is strong ♥️ he’s determined and we will make it through this”
