Who I am:

My name is Aiden, and I currently enjoy developing games under AverageGuy Games. My goal is to develop simple, yet captivating, gameplay with minimalistic-style graphics for everyone.

I've done quite a few projects in the past. However, this will be the first time I engage the community for support. The games and applications that I create are all done in my spare time, and I'm here to try and make it worth my family's time. Also, the fundraiser will be used to see how much interest there is in the project. If there is enough, I will also release it for android (See Targeted Platforms section) .

Adrift:

Adrift is a level-based game designed with a more open feel than your average space invaders. While adrift in the cosmos you encounter numerous hostile aliens. Your objective is to purge the galaxy of these hellbent Arachnidians. Collect coins and buy tokens to unlock and upgrade your fighter. Discover new worlds and styles of playing in this sleek, space shooter.

Adrift is comprised of simple, yet intuitive, level selections screens, ship upgrade menus, and ship customizations menus. You can move through and select levels in a Super Mario style level map and move between "Solar Systems". You can upgrade your ship characteristics and unlock up to 14 different fighters to destroy the Arachnidians. The Arachnidian force consists of 5 enemy types, all with their own fighting style and capabilities.
