Lawrenceville family, we could really use your prayers right now. Our son Aiden Winningham, a proud member of the Lawrenceville Indians basketball family, was involved in a serious car accident. At the scene they were preparing to LifeLine him to Champaign, but the weather wouldn’t allow the helicopter to fly. He was rushed by ambulance to Union Hospital in Terre Haute, and after scans doctors immediately flew him to IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Aiden is currently being treated for broken ribs, a lacerated spleen and kidney, and internal bleeding. It has been one of the most terrifying moments of our lives as parents, but we are incredibly thankful he is alive and receiving great care. He may be in the hospital for up to a week while doctors monitor his injuries, and his mom will be staying by his side the entire time. Between the ambulance, medical flight, and hospital care, the medical bills will be significant. Friends encouraged us to start a GoFundMe to help ease that burden while we focus on Aiden healing. If you’re able to help, we are beyond grateful. If not, please keep Aiden in your prayers and share this post so others can see it. The Lawrenceville community has always shown up for its own, and right now our family needs that support. Thank you all. Hug your kids and tell them you love them.
