Support Aiden Desroches' Long Road to Recovery

For those who don't know me, my name is Jesse Camp and I am one of many long-time friends of Matthew Desroches and the Desroches family, helping organize this fundraiser. Together, we are at a tragic point in time where thoughts, prayers, generosity, and support are greatly needed, and I'm asking for your help!

The focus of this fundraiser is Matt's son, Aiden Desroches, who on July 29th, was involved in a horrific car accident that included three of his teen friends. Matt and Aiden's mother, Melania Hasiuk, have had their lives literally turned upside down as they work through every parent's worst nightmare. The details of the crash are chilling, with Aiden at just 18 years old and said to be lucky to be alive. The crash left him with significant life-threatening injuries, urgent transport to Boston's Mass General Hospital (MGH), and multiple teams of doctors who are working around the clock to help in Aiden's recovery. Summarized, his injuries include broken bones, dislocations, and severe burns that resulted in tendon, muscle, and nerve damage, with some considered permanent. This experience is already proving to be incomparable, with life-changing consequences, and a true calling for community support.

Aiden's road to recovery is long, uncertain, and already full of sacrifices from those directly and indirectly involved. Aiden remains under MGH care with more surgeries required, and the family is already working towards securing accommodations for that longer duration. Aiden's plan of joining the Air Force next month is indefinitely delayed. The close to his summer, and those closest to him, has been entirely rewritten, and the financial burden and hardship anticipated is only manageable with the help of others. Matt and Melania have completely adjusted work schedules to ensure 100% focus and presence by Aiden's side. I'm asking that you all keep Aiden, Matt, Collyn, Melania, Nicole, and the families in your thoughts and PLEASE contribute any way you can, with as little or as much possible.
