Support Aidan's Recovery

On Saturday, July 20th, Aidan was in a motorcycle accident in Ludlow, Vermont. Upon the arrival of paramedics, he was intubated and flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital and has been under the care of the amazing team in the ICU. Among the injuries he sustained, he is suffering from brain bleeds and will need to be transferred to a traumatic brain injury (TBI) rehabilitation facility for several weeks once he has improved enough to be discharged from the ICU.

Those who know Aidan know the grit, determination, and love he puts into everything he does. At 22 years old, he is the hardest worker and the first to jump to action when someone is in need or when a challenge arises. He is the most genuine and empathetic soul; the compassion he has for all of life is awe-inspiring. His laughter and sense of humor spreads like fire in every room he enters. Since he was young, he yearned for adventure and found his passion in the outdoors, specifically in skiing and rock climbing. Over the last 4 years he has worked at Copper, Telluride, and Okemo mountains and has found and cultivated the most incredible communities within them. He is the heart of Okemo snowmaking and the tight-knit Okemo community.

Aidan is showing signs of improvement in small moments and is fighting hard to come back to us. The extent of his brain injuries is not completely known, and the road to recovery will be long. While he is receiving the best care from a renowned team, his treatment and recovery is both extensive and expensive. Please help us to get Aidan through this battle and able to return to the life that he has so much more left of to live.
